Amman, Jordan: As part of its care for its employees, and in order to educate the community and raise its awareness of eye diseases, particularly those related to diabetes and ocular hypertension (the silent thief of sight), Bank ABC in Jordan organized a free medical day for its employees in cooperation with Shami Eye Centre, during which various free medical services and tests were provided; including diabetes screening, eye examination and body mass index (BMI), in addition to dermatology consultations. This campaign aims to raise awareness and promote health culture in order to improve employees’ life quality, reduce bad practices and prevent diseases.
